Day 8 - These Boots Were Made for Walking

HAPPY FRIDAY LOVELY PEOPLE



     Today we are going to talk about walking. So, let's say that you hate to exercise and you feel that you keep trying to make yourself go to the gym but it just never happens. Here what you do, you walk every where and I mean every where. Take the stairs, walk to work, walk to class, and even just walk for pleasure. The best kind of walk in my opinion is one that you take to clear your mind because you are getting exercise and relaxing at the same time. WIN WIN. If you are ever having a bad day and you feel like the world is against you, go for a walk. When you spend some time with nature it really does make it easier to connect and see the brighter side of things.

Day 7 - WEIGHT a minute

HAPPY TUESDAY EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU

         On this great and fabulous day we are going to talk about weight. Yes, I know that it is a terrible and dreaded topic but we are going to talk about it. Since before I can remember I have always cared completely and 100% about the number on the scale. I didn't care how I felt about my body, I just needed the number to become smaller. Now I am aware that a number does not matter! Health means nothing if you don't feel good about yourself. You deserve to feel good in your own body. Once you accept the fact that every single person is built differently and the number does not determine your self-worth your life will become better.

Goal - If you are someone that constantly focuses on the number on the scale, I want you to try and not weigh yourself for a week! It may seem impossible but you will see results.

Day 6 - Do You Yoga (pt.2)

Today we are going to continue talking a little bit about yoga! I am going to list some of the things that doing yoga benefits.

  • Increases blood flow 
  • Increases heart rate 
  • Lowers blood pressure 
  • Increases focus
  • Helps you sleep better
